Design Studies: Face Brush

At Tactile, outside of client work, we continuously create concept studies to explore ideas ranging from interesting forms and user experiences to emerging trends in CMF. Alongside serving as internal experimentation, these studies also function as marketing tools, showcasing Tactile’s design expertise and approach to Innovation. The Face Brush design study, modeled in Sharper3D iPad CAD, showcased the impacts of material and color choices and, in addition, involved adding surface patterning to explore the design possibilities further. This type of design study can be valuable for exploring how different materials and colors can affect the overall look and feel of a product, and how surface patterning can enhance its aesthetics. It allows us to experiment and make informed choices when developing products for specific industries, considering factors like functionality, aesthetics, and user preferences. For this project, I served as a co-lead alongside our Principal Industrial Designer, contributing to early research exploration, early concept ideation, CMF exploration and implementation, and the final renderings.
